Mr. Panes will be based in CRA’s London office.\n \n \n “We’re pleased to welcome Nick to our London office,” said CRA’s\n President and Chief Executive Officer Paul\n Maleh. “His investigative and regulatory compliance expertise\n strengthens the service offerings that CRA’s new Risk, Investigations &\n Analytics Practice provides to our clients.”\n \n \n Mr. Panes has more than 15 years of experience advising clients globally\n on political risk and regulatory compliance advisory work. He previously\n served as a Senior Partner for Control Risks in its London office\n managing its Global Risk Analysis covering Europe and Africa. Before\n that, Mr. Panes was based in Mexico where he ran Control Risks’\n operations for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean and also\n advised clients on the design of regulatory and anti-corruption\n compliance systems.\n \n \n “Our clients are global and so are their requirements,” said Peter\n Nolan, Vice President and Co-Practice Leader of CRA's Risk,\n Investigations & Analytics Practice. “Nick’s strong background in\n designing and implementing risk management solutions for clients around\n the world will accelerate and enhance our team’s growth in Europe.”\n \n \n Mr. Panes holds an MSc degree in Latin American Politics from the\n Institute of Latin American Studies, University of London and a MA\n degree in Geography and Politics from the University of Edinburgh. He is\n a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and also completed\n the Investigators Course run by the Centre for Investigative Studies &\n Crime Reduction at Charles Sturt University.
