[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 4263X CPPGroup Plc 05 May 2016 \n\n5 May 2016\nCPPGROUP PLC\n \nResult of General Meeting of Shareholders\n \nCPPGroup Plc (the \"Company\"), the international assistance business, announces that all resolutions proposed to Shareholders at its General Meeting held earlier today were duly passed. \n \nThe resolutions, proposed in a requisition notice served on the Company on 18 March 2016 by Schroder Investment Management Limited (\"Schroders\"), called for four Directors of the Company (being Stephen Callaghan, Chief Executive Officer; Roger Canham, non-executive Chairman; Shaun Astley-Stone, non-executive director; and Abhai Rajguru, non-executive director) to be removed from the Board of Directors of the Company, and that Sir Richard Douglas Lapthorne, Nicholas Ian Cooper and Mark William Hamlin be appointed to the Company's Board.\n \nFollowing the result of today's General Meeting, the above-mentioned changes to the CPPGroup Board of Directors become effective immediately.
