[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 3547L Costain Group PLC 11 January 2016 \n\nCostain Group PLC\n(\"Costain\" or \"the Group\")\n \n \nCostain confirms award of East Sussex highways services contract\n \nFurther to its announcement on 17 December 2015 of Preferred Bidder status, Costain, the engineering solutions provider, confirms today that as part of a Joint Venture ('JV') it has been awarded the contract by East Sussex County Council to deliver a comprehensive design, maintenance and improvement service covering over 2,000 miles of highways in the county. \n \nCostain is in a 50:50 JV with CH2M; the contract is worth £300m to the JV over seven years.
