(Graphic: Business Wire)\nThe survey, conducted by DFC Intelligence to study spending habits of PC gaming enthusiasts, polled over 1,000 PC builders and buyers, asking “When do you plan on your next PC build or purchase?” as well as how much respondents spent annually on gaming and associated hardware. DFC found that 60% of respondents who built PCs in 2019 expressed intentions to build or purchase new systems in the next two years. This number rose to a staggering 84% amongst those who built PCs during COVID lockdown and who typically invest $2,000 or more annually in their gaming passion.\n\n\nAndy Paul, Chief Executive Officer of CORSAIR, stated, “We have been saying for some time that gamers who built gaming PCs and bought peripherals during the pandemic, would likely upgrade again in the usual 3–4 year refresh cycle. The findings from DFC agree with this hypothesis and point to robust demand for PC hardware in 2024, which we expect CORSAIR to directly benefit from.
