The Lumos is a new generation of sensor that is lighter, more accurate and faster, and powered by Maestrano's proprietary software it delivers best in class performance, greater affordability and ease of use for customers. The improvements increase the addressable market size for Lumos. \n \n \n \n \n \n The Lumos series consists of two systems capable of fitting onto an even wider variety of drones from manufacturers in China, the US, and Europe. Both systems are lightweight, beginning at just 1.5kg and capable of flight heights up to 120 metres. Greater flight heights allow users to survey even wider areas per flight, bringing significant improvements in efficiency and cost. \n \n \n \n \n \n The accuracy Lumos can achieve at 120 metres is traditionally reserved for more expensive systems. Greater accuracy improves the quality of the final output whether it is for surveying land, powerlines, roads, railways, environmental sites, or for use in archaeology among other applications. The improved performance enables Lumos to work more quickly and, for customers, is even easier to use. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Ashley Cox, COO of Nextcore, said: \n \n \"We've been listening to our customers, to gauge their needs and build a future-proof sensor. Our onboard inertial navigation and data fusion software leads the industry, and Lumos is a new benchmark for hardware performance. The Lumos architecture is also shared with the Cordel Wave ruggedised sensor for deployment on rail and road vehicles for precision data capture for the Cordel Machine Learning platform.\" \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Nick Smith, CEO...
