(CPL.H - TSX Venture), (\"Champlain\" or the \"Corporation\"), listed on the TSX Venture NEX Exchange under the trading symbol \"CPL.H\",  is pleased to announce that the TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing documentation with respect to the non-brokered private placement announced April 28, 2010 (the \"Private Placement\").This second tranche of the Private Placement consisted of 5,000,000 common shares at a price of $0.05 and 5,000,000 common share purchase warrants exercisable at $0.10 for a period of one year. The common share purchase warrants will not be eligible for any future term extension and expire on May 19, 2011.  A finder's fee consisting of $5,750 and 115,000 broker warrants was paid to an arm's length third party in connection with the second tranche of the Private Placement.  The broker warrants are exercisable at a price of $0.10 per broker warrant and expire on May 19, 2011. The common shares issued under the offering and upon exercise of the warrants are subject to a four-month hold period expiring on September 20, 2010.
