("Champlain" or the\n"Corporation"), listed on the NEX board of the TSX Venture Exchange under the\ntrading symbol "CPL.H", announces today that it granted 1,100,000 stock\noptions (the "Options") to 4 eligible persons pursuant to its stock option\nplan effective September 1, 2009. All Options were granted at an exercise\nprice of $0.10 per share and vest immediately. Of the stock options granted,\nan aggregate of 800,000 Options were granted to 2 directors, one of whom is\nalso an officer of the Corporation.
