Request for Suspension

Contango Holdings Plc, a company focused on unlocking value from the +2 billion tonne Muchesu coal project in Zimbabwe ("Muchesu"), provides the following update in relation to the publication of its Audited Annual Report and Financial Statements for the 12-month financial period ended 31 May 2024 (the "2024 Annual Report").

As stipulated by DTR 4.1.3R. of the Financial Conduct Authority (the "FCA"), the Company is required to publish its 2024 Annual Report by no later than 30 September 2024. The Company recently noted that Moore Kingston Smith ("MKS") were appointed as auditors in July 2024. The Directors have been advised by MKS that they expect to complete the audit of the 2024 Annual Report during October 2024.

The Company has requested the FCA to approve the temporary suspension of listing on the Official List and the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange from 7.30 a.m. on Tuesday 1 October 2024 (the "Suspension").

The Company will publish its 2024 Annual Report immediately after completion of the audit by MKS, following which the Company will apply for the Suspension to be lifted and the shares to re-commence trading. A further announcement in this respect will be made in due course.
