Audited Final Results for the Year Ended 31 May 2024

Contango Holdings Plc, a company focused on unlocking value from the +2 billion tonne Muchesu coal project in Zimbabwe ("Muchesu"), is pleased to announce the publication of its audited results for the year ended 31 May 2024 ("FY 2024"). A copy of the full report and accounts can be found on the Company's website at www.contango-holdings-plc.co.uk.   

The Company would like to advise that, further to this announcement, it has now requested that the suspension of the share trading be lifted by the Financial Conduct Authority as soon as possible and normal trading of the Company's shares to resume.  The Company will provide an update on operations alongside the recommencement of trading.

Carl Esprey, Chief Executive Officer of Contango Holdings, said:

 "With the Final Year Results to 31 May 2024 now reported, we are now looking forward to lifting the suspension of trading subject to FCA approval.  Whilst we understand shareholders frustration with the suspension of the shares we have enjoyed working with our new auditors.

"Whilst suspended we have seen significant transformation at site, and I look forward to providing a more fulsome update in the near term when our shares recommence trading."
