NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION TO U.S. NEWSWIRE OR FOR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES

* 31 Samples collected prior to option by Jourdan
* Assays of 13.195% and 8.187% P205
* Mineralization occurs in several areas of the property

Mississauga, Ontario CANADA, June 18, 2012 /FSC/ - Jourdan Resources Inc. (JOR - TSX Venture), ("JOURDAN" or the "Company") (www.jourdan.ca) is pleased to report the results of reconnaissance grab samples collected on its 100% controlled Jazz Phosphate Property (the "Property") located approximately  200 km west-northwest of the Upper North Shore port community of Baie-Comeau (Quebec), 40 km west of JOURDAN's Lac Dissimieux Phosphate Project, and sits contiguous to the south of the Lac a Paul Phosphate Deposit, where Arianne Resources recently completed a prefeasibility study for open-pit mining operations. The study projected an annual production rate of two million tonnes of 39% P2O5 apatite concentrate over a 25 year open-pit mine life with a forecasted net present value of $649-million and an internal rate of return (IRR) just under 20%.

A total of 30 reconnaissance grab samples were collected by prospectors in 2011 under the supervision of Christian Tremblay, P Geo., who had no direct interest in the Property upon completion of the work, prior to the acquisition of the claims by Jourdan. The results of these samples were included in a report "Rapport des activites de prospection sur la propriete Apa-ti realises le 17 et 18 juillet 2011 par le groupe de prospecteurs " by Christian Tremblay, P. Geo., dated November 1, 2011. Grab samples are selective by nature and are unlikely to represent average grades of the deposit.

The report outlines the grab sample result highlights, including:

Sample H902375 with 13.195% P2O5
Sample H902377 with 8.187% P2O5
Sample H902379 with 7.812% P2O5

"The results from the Jazz Phosphate Property from work completed last year, along with the ongoing success and enhanced prefeasibility results from Arianne Resources Paul Lake Project, adjacent to Jazz, continues to demonstrate the region has the potential to be a material source of phosphate for the fertilizer market" states Jourdan's President and CEO Michael Dehn.

Results for the 30 reconnaissance grab samples that were collected in 2011 are listed below:
