Jourdan Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

Mississauga, Ontario CANADA, February 29, 2012 /FSC/ - Jourdan Resources Inc. (JOR - TSX Venture), ("JOURDAN" or the "Company") (www.jourdan.ca) is pleased to announce that, subject to regulatory approval, Mr. Glen Wylie, CMA has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Wylie replaces Mr. Guy Girard in this position who has left the Company to manage the spinoff Gimus Resources Inc. and pursue other opportunities. The Company wishes to thank Mr. Girard for his contributions as management to the Company during his tenure. Mr. Girard remains on the board of the Company.

Glen has over 12 years of accounting experience with small, private companies. He also brings with him small business ownership & management experience, a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation. Glen is an owner of Avanti Management & Consulting Limited. Prior to Jourdan, he spent several years in the film & television industry before working more recently with Nayarit Gold Inc., a publicly traded junior exploration company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange doing consulting in a marketing & corporate services capacity.
