[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n 30 July 2013 \n\n \n Conroy Gold and Natural Resources plc \n\n (\"Conroy\" or \"the Company\") \n\n Preliminary BIOX® Results Positive \n\n * Results in line with Scoping Study\n \n * Sulphide sulphur oxidation 98.6 per cent\n \n * Gold dissolution up to 90.4 per cent\n \nConroy Gold and Natural Resources plc (AIM: CGNR, ESM: CGNR.I), the gold\nexploration and mine development company which has discovered a thirty mile\ngold district in Ireland running across Counties Armagh, Monaghan and Cavan and\nis planning to develop its first operational gold mine at Clontibret in Co.\nMonaghan, is pleased to announce that the preliminary results of the BIOX®\ntests which are being carried out in South Africa are positive.\n\nSulphide sulphur oxidation up to 98.6 per cent has been achieved and gold\ndissolution up to 90.4 per cent were recorded on the lode material. These are\nkey technical tests in relation to the process technology and are in line with\nthe projections in the Scoping Study.\n\nBIOX®which is a well established bacterial oxidation technique was recommended\nby Tetra Tech in their Scoping Study as an appropriate technology for treating\nthe gold sulphide concentrate at the proposed mine at Clontibret. BIOX®is an\nenvironmentally friendly proven technology with a number of plants in operation\nworldwide including South Africa, Ghana, Brazil, China and Australia.\n\nThis release has been approved by Kevin McNulty PGeo, who is a member of the\nCompany's technical staff, who holds a BSc/MSc in Geology and Remote Sensing,\nin accordance with the guidance note for Mining, Oil & Gas Companies issued by\nthe London Stock Exchange in respect of AIM Companies, which outlines standards\nof disclosure for mineral projects.\n\nProfessor Richard Conroy, Chairman commented:\n\n\"I am delighted to see these positive preliminary BIOX®results.
