The appointment is made with immediate effect.\n\n\n\nSince qualifying as a chartered accountant in1975, Mr Dougal, 55, has held a\nnumber of senior management positions. He was Chief Executive of Hanson plc,\nthe international building materials company between 1997 and 2002. Before the\ndemerger in 1997 of Hanson, the diversified industrial group, Mr Dougal held a\nnumber of senior roles including Group Finance Director between 1995 and 1997.\nHe is currently a non-executive director of Taylor Woodrow plc where he also\nchairs its audit committee and is a non-executive director of Premier Farnell\nplc. His was also a non-executive director and member of the audit and\nremuneration committees of BPB plc from 2003 to 2005, and non-executive director\nand member of the audit committee of Celtel International BV during 2004/2005.\n\n\nCommenting on the appointment, David Marshall, Chairman of Creston, said:\n\n\n\n\"We are delighted that Andrew has agreed to join the Board of Creston at this\nexciting stage in the Group's development.
