[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n Concurrent Technologies Plc \n\n International Senior Management Appointments \n\nConcurrent Technologies Plc (the \"Company\"), a world leading specialist in the\ndesign and manufacture of high-end embedded computer products, is pleased to\nannounce two senior management appointments for its subsidiaries in both the\nUSA and India.\n\nMr. Brent Salgat is promoted to President of Concurrent Technologies Inc., the\nCompany's US subsidiary and Mr. Manivannan Ramasamy has been appointed Managing\nDirector of Concurrent Tech India Private Limited, the Company's Indian\nsubsidiary.\n\nBrent, a US citizen, joined Concurrent Technologies Inc in 2006 as Vice\nPresident of Sales and Marketing for North America. In this time he has led the\nexpansion of the customer base in the region, demonstrating excellent results\nthrough his extensive knowledge of the market and network of contacts. Brent\nhas an Electronics Degree from Michigan Technological University and has 20\nyears' experience in the embedded computer industry.\n\nManivannan, an Indian citizen, joined the group in late 2007 as a General\nManager tasked with establishing an engineering design centre in Bangalore,\nIndia. He is a graduate of Anna University, India, with a Masters Degree in\nApplied Electronics. He has sixteen years' experience in the design of embedded\nproducts, predominantly in the telecommunications industry, working both in\nIndia and the US.\n\nGlen Fawcett, Managing Director, Concurrent Technologies Plc, commented:\n\n\"I am delighted at these appointments; both Brent and Manivannan have\ndemonstrated commitment, leadership and business skills which will continue to\nhelp strengthen the group and help drive further growth.\"\n\n\"The USA is a very important market for us, especially with our drive towards\nenvironmentally superior products targeted at the defence market.
