(OTCQB: DRNE), a developer of specialized lighter-than-air aerostats and tethered drones, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Drone Aviation Corp., has completed the latest delivery of Blimp in a Box® (\"BiB\") aerostat system sustainment equipment to the U.S. Department of Defense (\"DoD\"). The delivered equipment is to be utilized to support the Army's two previously acquired BiB systems. \n The equipment delivered included various ground and airborne-based components to support the two BiB-250s operating at Fort Polk's Joint Readiness Training Center. The BiB-250 tethered aerostat systems are intended to provide semi-persistent, mobile intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (\"ISR\") at the platoon level with minimal troop requirements. The BiB-250 systems provide real-time day/night high definition footage for ISR, detection of hostile activity or improvised explosive devices, border security and other governmental and civilian uses. \n \"With this latest sustainment delivery, we are able to provide our customer with additional resources ensuring that the BiBs continue to operate at peak efficiency,\" said Felicia Hess, CEO of Drone Aviation Holding Corp. \"Our goal is to work closely with our customer in order to demonstrate that our BiBs are a valuable and cost effective tactical aerial asset for the DoD.
