(the\n“Company” or “Contact Gold”) (TSXV:C\n \n \n )\n \n \n ;\n \n \n (\n \n \n OTC:CGOLF)\n \n \n is pleased\nto provide an update on the 2022 drill program at the Green Springs\noxide gold project.\n \n \n \n \n Green Springs is strategically located 7 km immediately\neast of Calibre Mining’s Gold Rock project, and 20 km southeast of\ntheir Pan Mine.  Gold mineralization at Green Springs is hosted\nwithin the same Chainman Shale and Pilot Shale units hosting Gold Rock\nand Pan. The Green Springs project produced high-grade oxide gold from\ntwo open pits in the 1980’s, and is host to multiple, near-surface\nCarlin Type gold zones and exploration targets.\n \n \n \n \n Drilling is currently underway with a plan to complete\nup to\n \n \n 3,000 metres\n \n \n .\n \n \n \n \n The Spring 2022 drill program is initially focused on\nfollow-up to the 2021 discoveries at\n \n \n X-Ray and\nTango, both hosted at the lower Pilot Shale contact with the\nunderlying Guilmette limestone.  X-Ray and Tango are near-surface,\nwell oxidized, and remain wide open for expansion with exceptional\ngrades and thicknesses.  Drilling is expected to continue with\n \n \n targeted\n \n \n follow-up drill\nholes at\n \n \n the BC Gap discovery, which sits\nbeneath the Green Springs Mine Trend.\n \n \n \n \n “With the Green Springs drill program well underway,\nwe’re seeing exactly the type of alteration, oxidation and arsenic\nvalues that we saw during the discovery drilling at X-Ray and Tango in\n2021.” said Vance Spalding, VP Exploration at Contact Gold.  “The\nPilot Shale is an excellent host rock across northeastern Nevada, and\nwe believe Green Springs will continue to deliver exciting results and\ngrowth potential from the Pilot”.\n \n \n \n \n Green Springs Drill Program\nUpdate:\n \n \n \n \n \n \n A\n \n \n total\n \n \n of\n16 drill holes totalling 1,160 metres have been completed at Green\nSprings thus far in the 2022 program, with results pending for all\nholes.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Four holes have been d...
