Gold mineralization at Green Springs is hosted within the\nsame Chainman Shale and Pilot Shale units hosting Gold Rock and Pan.\n \n \n \n \n Drilling at Green Springs wrapped up in late June with\n23 holes completed for 2,123 metres, and was dedicated to growing the\nhigh-grade Tango, X-Ray, and B-C Gap\n \n \n oxide gold discoveries\n \n \n made by Contact\n \n \n Gold in 2021.\n \n \n \n \n The Company believes that ongoing surface exploration\nat Green Springs will be successful in identifying additional\nprospective areas and developing further compelling drill targets,\nespecially in the underexplored Pilot Shale, the host horizon to the\nTango, X-Ray, and BC Gap discoveries.\n \n \n \n \n In addition to the recent discoveries, Green Springs\ncontains the Mine Trend, a 3 km long zone of shallow oxidized gold\nmineralization hosted within the Chainman Shale, highlighted by the\nhigh-grade Echo Zone, which remains wide-open for expansion to the\nsouth, with permits expected to be in hand in early 2023 to do just\nthat.\n \n \n \n \n X-Ray Zone\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Average depth of completed drill holes at X-Ray was\n86.8 metres\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Five holes were drilled at the outcropping X-Ray Zone,\noffsetting and stepping out from the high-grade oxide discovery made\nin the 2021 program\n \n \n \n \n \n \n The X-Ray target area is open for expansion to the\nsouth and west, and the north to some degree\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Gold mineralization at X-Ray is hosted at the lower\nPilot Shale contact with the underlying Guilmette limestone.  X-Ray\nis near-surface, well ...
