(the\n“Company” or “Contact Gold”) (TSXV:C\n \n \n )\n \n \n ;\n \n \n (\n \n \n OTC:CGOLF)\n \n \n is pleased\nto provide an update on the 2023 exploration program at the Green\nSprings gold project located on the prolific Cortez Trend in\nnortheastern Nevada.\n \n \n \n \n The 2023 program is being carried out as part of the\nUS$ 10 million earn-in agreement with a wholly-owned subsidiary of\nCenterra Gold Inc.\n \n \n (“Centerra”)\n \n \n (TSX: CG; NYSE: CGAU), and ramped up on May 30, 2023.\n Contact Gold is the project operator for the planned 4,500 metres of\nreverse circulation (RC) drilling.\n \n \n \n \n “We’ve had a safe and efficient start to the\nprogram, with drilling, geophysics, and surface work all underway.”\nsaid Matt Lennox-King, President and CEO of Contact Gold.  “Green\nSprings boasts incredible exploration potential, and our work to date\nin 2023 continues to reinforce that opportunity.  Next up on the\ntarget list are the C-D Gap target and the X-Ray Zone, a recently\ndiscovered outcropping zone of oxidized gold mineralization.”\n \n \n \n \n 2023 Program Update:\n \n \n \n \n \n \n 603 metres of RC drilling have been completed out of a\nplanned total of 4,500 metres, representing 13% of the planned\nprogram.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Drilling to date has been focused at the Echo Zone at\nthe southern end of the 3 km long Green Springs Mine Trend.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n A total of 47 claims have been added to the project,\nrepresenting a 19% increase in the project area.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n The Oscar target has been identified to the north of\nthe Mine Trend with soil samples returning anomalous low-level gold\nand pathfinder elements; detailed mapping is scheduled to further\ndefine the target for drilling.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Soil sampling crews have collected over 802 samples\ncovering the Zulu, North Whiskey, and Whiskey-Foxtrot corridor target\nareas.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n A CSAMT survey is being conducted over the Kilo...
