Reporting to the Director\n of Operations, successful candidate shall have the following\n responsibilities:\n\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES: \n\n\nGather relevant information, check and edit pieces of news, and see to\n their broadcast or recording.\n\n\nGather information on site and report coverage on the air whenever\n assigned to outside broadcasts.\n\n\nConduct interviews by phone or any other means.\n\n\nExecute his own editing and recording with the material provided for\n that purpose.\n\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: \n\n\nBachelor's degree in communication or journalism, or equivalent\n experience\n\n\n5 years experience in the field of journalistic information\n\n\nThorough knowledge of geography and the metropolitan road network\n\n\nGood knowledge of the public administration field\n\n\nProficiency in the following software: Microsoft Office suite and\n Outlook\n\n\nDemonstrated interest in urban planning and architecture\n\n\nDemonstrated ability to convey information in layman's terms\n\n\nStrong public speaking skills\n\n\nHighly skilled at managing several tasks and/or pieces of information\n simultaneously\n\n\nDeveloped capacity to work under pressure\n\n\nHigh energy level, strong sense of initiative, and keen interest in\n taking on challenges\n\n\nExcellent knowledge of the English language\n\n\nBilingualism, an asset\n\n\nValid driver's license\n\n\nNote: Starting date is conditional upon the date required approvals are\n received from regulatory authorities. \n\n\nInterested applicants are invited to send a resume by August 19, 2011 to:\n\n\nCogeco Diffusion\nMarysol Burns, Executive Assistant\n800, de la Gauchetière West, Suite 1100Montreal, Quebec H5A [email protected]\n\n\nABOUT COGECO DIFFUSION
