Most of Cogeco\nCable's Digital Television subscribers in QuDebec will now have access to\neleven HD channels, eight of which are in French and three in English.\n\"The growing popularity of large TV screens confirms it: our customers\nare constantly looking for exceptional image and sound quality when they watch\ntelevision,\" indicated Ron Perrotta, Vice President, Marketing, Cogeco Cable.\n\"We are putting all our efforts towards providing the best HD offering\npossible. Only two months after launching five new HD channels in Ontario, we\nare proud to provide our customers with the most complete French HD offering\navailable in QuDebec. And we will continue to improve our offer in the coming\nyear, as more and more channels offer HD programming.\"\nCogeco's Passeport customers with a HD receiver can access the HD service\nfor only $2.99 per month. In most of their Quebec territories, Cogeco Cable\nwill offer access to 11 HD channels, seven of which are owned by Astral Media,\nthe largest operator of specialized television in French, Pay TV and Pay Per\nView TV in Canada. Subscribers will now be able to watch shows on SRC\n(Montreal), CBC (Montreal), Canal Vie, HiSToRiA, ZtDelDe, Canal D, SDeries +,\nVRAK.TV, CTV (Toronto) and Global (Toronto). Subscribers will benefit from a\nvast array of HD shows, including Tout le monde en parle, Desperate\nHousewives, CSI and MDetamorphose.
