[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 1484A Guinness Peat Group PLC 29 July 2008 \nRe Inspired Gaming Group plc\nThe following is the text of a letter which is being sent today by Guinness Peat Group plc (“GPG”) to Inspired Gaming Group plc (“Inspired”) in connection with GPG’s purchase of shares in Inspired last week. This letter is to replace the letter sent to Inspired on 25 July 2008.\n\nDisclosure of Interest in Shares pursuant to Rule 8 of the Takeover Code ('the Code’)\nGuinness Peat Group plc and its subsidiary companies (“the Group”) hereby notify Inspired Gaming Group plc (“Inspired”) that, following participation in the Placement by Inspired, it has acquired 5,000,000 Convertible Preference Shares of Inspired (“Prefs\") at £0.50 per Pref. The Group’s direct long interest in the relevant securities (as defined in the Code) being the Prefs now amounts to 5,000,000 Prefs representing 6.25% of the issued Prefs of Inspired (3.27% of Inspired’s issued total voting rights).\nFurthermore, and in accordance with its announcement of 18 June 2008, GPG hereby confirms that the Group’s direct long interest in the relevant securities (as defined in the Code) being Ordinary shares of Inspired (\"Shares\"), remains 2,000,000 Shares representing 2.75% of the issued Shares (1.31% of Inspired’s issued total voting rights).\nTherefore the Group’s total long interest in the voting rights of Inspired represents 4.58% of Inspired’s issued total voting rights.\nThe Group has an interest by virtue of being a Rule 8 shareholder of Inspired.
