[{"type":"text","content":"\n Cardinal Resources plc\n08 May 2007\n\n\n CARDINAL RESOURCES PLC ISSUES OPERATIONS UPDATE\n\n LONDON - Tuesday, 8 May 2007 \n\n Cardinal Resources plc (AIM:CDL) ('Cardinal' or 'the Company'), an\n independent oil and gas exploration and production company operating in\n Ukraine, today provides an update on development drilling and production\n operations.\n\n GAS GATHERING AND SEPARATION FACILITY\n\n Construction activities on the gas gathering and separation facility\n continue with operations expected to commence by the end of the second\n quarter of 2007 as originally projected.\n\n The status of work to date on the project is as follows:\n\n Overall:\n\n • approximately 80% completed, estimated as follows:\n - Process area equipment and piping: 90% completed\n - Civil works: 95% completed\n - Electrical and Instrumentation works: 40% completed.\n\n Pictures of construction progress to date are available on the company's\n web-site: www.cardinal-uk.com.\n\n WORK PROGRAMME UPDATE\n\n 2007 Work Program(1)\n 1Q 2Q 3Q\n Gas Gathering and Separation Facility X\n DB licence area 25km sq 3D seismic survey X\n BC licence area 65 km sq 3D seismic survey X X\n\n The following is the detailed status of the works to date:\n\n Bilousivsko- Description of work Timeline\n Chornukhinska (BC) completed to date\n licence area\n \n Well #3A Work completed. Tie in to the gas \n gathering and separation \n facility at the end of \n the second quarter.\n\n Well #13 The plunger lift operations Tie in to the gas \n successfully completed. gathering and separation\n Switched to full automatic facility at the end of \n operations after successful the second quarter.\n operations on manual and \n timer mode.\n\n Well # 111 Plunger lift equipment being Production tests are \n installed. ongoing. If successful,\n the well will be tied \n into the facility at the \n end of the second \n quarter.\n\n Well #110 Plunger lift equipment The equipment delivery \n requirements have been is expected in early\n finalised. May and will be \n installed and\n tied into the facility \n at the end of the second \n quarter.\n\n Well #17 Land use agreements have been Forecasted completion by \n Well # 9 granted.
