[{"type":"text","content":"\n Persian Gold PLC\n02 April 2008\n\n\n Persian Gold plc.\n\n\n2nd April 2008\n\n\n Persian Gold PLC ('Persian Gold' or the 'Company')\n Hires Two Key Managers in Iran\n\n\nPersian Gold (AIM:PNG), the Irish based Iranian gold and copper explorer, is\npleased to announce the appointment of two key individuals to the Company's\nmanagement team in Iran. Mr. Bahman Rashidi has accepted the position of\nCountry Manager and Mr. Farzin Talebi Rad has accepted the position of\nOperations Manager. Both are based in Tehran.\n\nMr. Rashidi holds a BSc in Geology from Beheshti University in Tehran and an MSc\nin Economic Geology from Trinity College and University in Malaga, Spain.\n\nMr. Talebi Rad holds a BSc in Geology from Tabriz University in Iran.\n\nBoth men have extensive mineral exploration experience in Iran. They will\nsupervise the Persian Gold Dalli and Chah-e-Zard gold exploration projects but a\nprimary focus will be the identification of gold copper projects in the 2,000km\nunderexplored Tethyan Belt.\n\nIn addition, Persian Gold announces that Chah-e-Zard assay results on the 22\nhole diamond drill programme following positive trench sampling results have\nbeen received and are currently being evaluated, following which planning will\nbegin on the next phase of exploration.\n\n\nJohn Teeling, Chairman, commented:\n\n'I am delighted that Bahman and Farzin have joined Persian Gold.
