(TSX: CZZ)\nannounces that it has been advised by two of its directors, Mr. Bruce Durham\nand Mr. Glenn Mullan, that Ungava Minerals Exploration Inc. ("UMEI") lost its\nappeal in the highest court of Quebec (Court of Appeal of Quebec), in its\n(UMEI's) attempt to reverse an earlier decision of the Quebec Superior Court,\nthat was unfavourable to Ungava Minerals.\n\n\nIn 2006, Ungava Minerals launched an action against Durham and Mullan in\nthe Quebec Superior Court, seeking $50,500,000 in damages and alleging\ntrespass and concealment, among other related issues (see Press Release of\nUngava Minerals Corp./Nearactic Nickel Mines Inc. dated August 11, 2006).\nBruce Durham and Glenn Mullan were successful in having this 2006 action\nagainst them dismissed by the Quebec Superior Court on April 24, 2007, and\nagain, as mentioned above, in the Court of Appeal of Quebec on July 16, 2008,\nwhen the Honorable Louise Otis, Juge de la Cour d'appel (JCA), the Honorable\nFrancois Pelletier, JCA, and the Honorable Marie-France Bich, JCA, rejected\nUngava's appeal, with costs to be paid by Ungava Minerals.\n\n\nAbout Canadian Royalties\n\n\nCanadian Royalties has initiated the development of an independent,\nstand-alone nickel-copper mine on its Nunavik Nickel Project, located\n20 kilometres south of Xstrata Nickel's Raglan Mine in Nunavik, Province of\nQuebec, Canada. Canadian Royalties has now received its Environmental\nCertificate of Authorization and Mine Lease for Expo, and has started\nconstruction.\n\n\n","length":1634,"tagName":"div"}]
