Within the emerging market universe, Barry has held senior executive positions with W.I.Carr and Swiss Bank Corporation in Asia and the UK and more recently was a Director of Asset Management Investment Company plc, a listed investment trust specialising in the investment management industry and Gaffney Cline & Associates Limited, a leading petroleum consultancy, prior to its sale to Baker Hughes Inc. in 2007.
