Using its LiveData Migrator (\"LDM\") solution, WANdisco will create a new, focused environment for machine learning and other analytical workloads. \n \n \n \n \n \n WANdisco will support the Customer by helping to move a subset of data from its existing Hadoop environment to a new storage layer in the cloud\n , while also supporting the continuous replication of any ongoing changes to this data\n . \n \n \n \n \n \n The contract win was driven by the Customer's desire to utilise a separate environment with a smaller, more relevant and succinct data set to perform retail demand forecasting as well as other machine learning and analytical workloads.\n \n \n \n \n \n WANdisco LDM was chosen by the Customer - an existing client of three years - for its ability to continuously move data to where it is needed at the right time, across multiple distributed on-premises environments, edge platforms or public clouds. This automated process ensures the data is kept up to date meaning the Customer is not required to manually refresh the new environment.
