The deal, which was agreed between Caledonia and Liberation's owners LGV for £118m, was supported by valuations services provided by Christie & Co.\n \nLiberation, founded in 2008 through a management buy-in led by Mark Crowther and equity backed by LGV, owns and operates a fully integrated pub and drinks business located in the Channel Islands and the West Country in the UK. Its business comprises 94 managed and tenanted pubs, two award-winning breweries and three wholesale businesses.\n\nChristie & Co has a long history of working with Liberation, being retained to provide professional services to the group since it was purchased by LGV in 2008.\n\nStephen Owens, Head of Valuation - Pubs & Restaurants at Christie & Co commented, \"We are delighted to hear that Caledonia Investments has acquired the Liberation Group.
