[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 1819B Christie Group PLC 28 January 2020 \n\n28 January 2020\nChristie Group plc\n(\"Christie Group\" or the \"Company\")\n \nChristie & Co Brokers Sale of Nursery Group\n \nChristie Group plc (CTG.L), the leading provider of Professional & Financial Services and Stock & Inventory Systems & Services to the hospitality, leisure, healthcare, medical, childcare & education and retail sectors, is pleased to announce that Christie & Co, its specialist provider of agency and advisory services, has completed the sale of Kids Allowed, a market leading nursery group, to Kids Planet, for an undisclosed sum.\n \nChristie & Co's specialist childcare team were engaged to explore options and facilitate a highly confidential sale of the group, containing a number of award winning nurseries located within the North West of England.\n\nFounded in 2003 by Jennie Johnson MBE, the Kids Allowed group had grown organically to encompass eight state-of-the-art, purpose-built settings, providing childcare to approximately 2,000 children. The eight day nurseries were sold on a leasehold basis, in an off-market transaction, to Kids Planet, an expanding group operator with more than 44 nurseries across the North West and Midlands.\n \nCourteney Donaldson, Managing Director - Child Centric Sectors at Christie & Co, comments: \"I first met Jennie back in the early 2000's, when I was invited to lend my expertise to undertake an independent review of the Kids Allowed original business plan.
