Additional Listing

Issue of Equity Chesnara plc (the 'Company') announces that a total of 1,691,284 ordinary shares of 5p each, representing approximately 2.0% of the issued share capital of the Company, have been issued and allotted to satisfy the exercise of share options. These shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares. Application has been made today to the London Stock Exchange for the admission of these shares to trading on the London Stock Exchange. Dealings are expected to commence on the 16th February 2004.
