[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 0304Q Elektron PLC 28 July 2010 \n\nElektron Plc\n('Elektron' or the 'Company')\n \nScrip Dividend Alternative\n \nElektron announces that the deadline for electing to receive new shares in lieu of cash in respect of the final dividend for the year ended 31 January 2010 has now passed and holders of approximately 34.03% of the current issued share capital have elected to participate.\n \nSubject to the passing of Resolutions 3 and 5 at the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held on 29 July 2010, an additional 712,354 shares will be issued increasing the total number of Ordinary Shares in the Company with voting rights to 88,826,259.
