("Champion Bear")\nannounced today that drilling has commenced at its Plomp Farm East gold\nproperty west of Dryden, Ontario. Drilling will initially test a new zone of\nanomalous copper and gold mineralization on the Plomp Farm East claims (see\nChampion Bear's news release dated September 14, 2006). The drilling will\ntarget geophysical anomalies from the recently completed IP and magnetic\nsurvey, coincident with anomalous surface samples. Other targets include\nfollow-up testing of previously identified, near surface gold mineralization\nwest of the main Plomp Farm zone.\n\n\nDeeper drilling to follow up the higher grade gold encountered during the\nCorporation's 2006 exploration program (see Champion Bear's news release dated\nApril 3, 2006) is expected to commence shortly after the completion of the\nshallow drilling and upon availability of the required larger drill. Champion\nBear intends to drill several wedge cuts from existing holes to better define\nthe nature and extent of the structures hosting the higher-grade\nmineralization.\n\n\nA 4,000 metre drill contract has been signed with Northstar Drilling for\nthe Plomp Farm drilling.\n\n\nTechnical project supervision is provided by Watts, Griffis and McOuat\nLimited.
