("Champion Bear"\nor the "Company") announced today that drilling has commenced at its\npolymetallic Iron Mask property northwest of Sudbury. Drilling at Iron Mask\nwill follow up an intersection of 0.13% Cu over a 7.2 metre core length (true\nwidth undetermined) from 99.5 to 106.7 metres in Hole IM05-5, (see Champion\nBear's news release dated August 9, 2005) and will also test other nearby\nuntested IP targets.\n\n\nChampion Bear has signed a 1,500 metre drill contact with Boart Longyear,\nto further test each of its Iron Mask and Halcyon properties.\n\n\nDrilling at Halcyon will follow up anomalous Ni mineralization\nencountered in drill hole HAL04-10, which intersected 2,949 ppm (0.29% Ni)\nover a core length of 3.6 metres (see Champion Bear's news release dated\nOctober 26, 2004).\n\n\nTechnical project supervision is provided by Watts, Griffis and McOuat\nLimited. The QP for the technical aspects of this news release is Joe Hinzer,\nP.
