Scientists and clinicians from around the globe will be attending to learn about the latest developments in the industry, including the recently published final FDA guidance document on mitigating the risk of bacterial contamination in transfused platelet components.\n\n\n“We are looking forward to the AABB meeting and sharing with the transfusion medicine community the latest clinical data supporting the use of INTERCEPT treated blood components.
