Wellcare to Offer Medicare Advantage and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans in 205 Texas Counties in 2026
Wellcare, Wellcare By Allwell, and Wellcare By Superior HealthPlan, the Medicare products offered by Superior HealthPlan, a company of Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC), will be available in 205 counties across Texas in 2026. This includes the cities of Austin, Dallas, El Paso, Houston, San Antonio and several others. The 2026 Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) begins Oct. 15, 2025, and runs through Dec. 7, 2025. Texans who enroll by Dec. 7, 2025, will have coverage starting Jan. 1, 2026.
