[{"type":"text","content":"\n Angle PLC\n27 November 2006\n\n\n\nFor Immediate Release 27 November 2006\n\n ANGLE plc\n\n ('ANGLE' or 'the Company')\n\n Contract Award\n\nANGLE is pleased to announce that it has won a contract with the Carbon Trust to\nprovide commercial expertise to businesses that demonstrate cost-effective,\ncarbon-reducing solutions.\n\nThis contract is a continuation of the successful activity undertaken by ANGLE\nfor the Carbon Trust over the last two years. During this time ANGLE has worked\nwith 14 early-stage businesses under the programme delivering business planning\nadvice and development support. The Carbon Trust pays ANGLE up to £65,000 per\ncompany to provide them with business advice.\n\nCT-ANGLE Incubator companies have enjoyed considerable success to date raising\nover £25 million investment whilst in the incubator, including two companies,\nCMR Fuel Cells and Oxford Catalysts that have listed on AIM.\n\nIt is the intention of both ANGLE and the Carbon Trust to build on the success\nof the Incubator programme, delivering greater support to a greater number of\ncompanies. The new contract is for two years with the facility to extend it for\na further year. The Carbon Trust plans considerable marketing activities to\nattract a greater number of companies, whilst ANGLE intends to uses its growing\npartnership network, such as the recently announced intellectual property\nframework with the University of Reading, to source further suitable companies.\n\nAndrew Newland, Chief Executive of ANGLE said:\n\n'The award of this contract recognises the key role that ANGLE can play in\ndeveloping the low carbon technology companies of the future.
