(NYSE, TSX: CLS), a global\n leader in the delivery of end-to-end product lifecycle solutions, today\n announced it is a recipient of the 2013 James S. Cogswell Outstanding\n Industrial Security Achievement Award from the Defense Security Service\n (DSS), an agency of the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).\n\n\nCelestica's Austin, Texas Aerospace and Defense Center of Excellence is\n one of 24 facilities selected out of 13,300 U.S. defense contractors\n evaluated for this prestigious award. This annual award recognizes\n consecutive superior security ratings, and sustained excellence and\n innovation in overall security program management, implementation and\n oversight.\n\n\nThe award criteria focus on principles of industrial security\n excellence. Factors include establishing and maintaining a security\n program that far exceeds the basic National Industrial Security Program\n requirements and providing leadership to other industry facilities in\n establishing best practices, while maintaining the highest standards\n for security. As part of the rigorous selection process, facilities\n must undergo security assessments on an annual basis and receive a\n 'Superior' rating at least two years in a row in order to be eligible.\n\n\n\"It is an honor to receive the Cogswell Award and we are very proud to\n be one of the few organizations selected for 2013,\" said Michael\n McGuire, President and Chairman of Celestica Aerospace Technologies\n Corporation. \"This is a testament to the expertise and commitment of\n Celestica's employees at our Austin facility and a reflection of the\n company's ability to maintain industry-leading security practices and\n standards in support of our customers' mission-critical defense\n products.\"\n\n\nThe award was presented at the NCMS (National Classification Management\n Society) Seminar in Chicago on June 26, 2013, by Stan Sims, Director of\n the Defense Security Service.\n\n\nAbout the Cogswell Award\nThe Cogswell Award, established in 1966, is named in honor of the late\n Air Force Col. James S. Cogswell, the first chief of industrial\n security within the DoD. Col.
