[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n \n \n RNS Number : 6859B\n Catalyst Media Group PLC\n 09 October 2020\n \n \n \n \n 9 October 2020\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Catalyst Media Group Plc\n \n \n (\"CMG\", \"Catalyst\" or the \"Group\")\n \n \n \n \n \n Update regarding SIS litigation\n \n \n \n \n \n The Company provides the following update in respect of Sports Information Services (Holdings) Limited (\"SIS\") in which CMG has an approximate 20.54% interest.\n \n \n \n \n \n As previously announced, SIS is currently involved in a Court case that was \n heard at the High Court in January/February 2019 (the \"Case\"). The \n Case has been brought by The Racing Partnership (\"TRP\") and others against SIS's subsidiary, Sports Information Services Limited (\"SISL\"),\n and others.\n \n \n \n \n \n The Company has been informed by SISL \n that the Court of Appeal has today handed down judgment in relation to the appeals against various elements of the judgment of Mr Justice Zacaroli in the High Court in respect of liability issues in the Case.\n \n \n \n \n \n CMG understands from SISL that the Court of Appeal has:\n \n \n \n \n \n (1) Upheld SISL's appeal in relation to the finding of breach of confidence in relation to certain race day data supplied to SISL by a co-defendant; and\n \n \n \n \n \n (2) Upheld TRP's appeal against the dismissal of its claims for unlawful means conspiracy. \n \n \n \n \n \n CMG has been informed that SISL's management note that both SISL and its witnesses remain vindicated with regards to any allegation of fraudulent and/or dishonest conduct.\n \n \n \n \n \n No ruling has been given as to any damages.\n \n \n \n \n \n SISL has informed CMG that in light of the above, SISL's management will be consulting with its advisors with regard to next steps.\n \n \n \n \n \n CMG will make further announcements in relation to the Case as appropriate.\n \n \n \n \n \n Enquiries:\n \n \n \n \n \n Catalyst Media Group Plc\n \n \n Michael Rosenberg, Non-executive Chairman: 07785 727 595\n \n \n Melvin Lawson, Non-executive Director: 020 7734 8111\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Strand Hanson Limited:\n \n &...
