[{"type":"text","content":"\n Catalyst Media Group PLC\n01 June 2007\n\n\n Catalyst Media Group plc \n ('Catalyst' or 'the Company') \n\n Board Changes \n\nCatalyst is pleased to announce the appointment to the Board of Mark Hawtin,\nMelvin Lawson and Christopher Mills as Non-Executive Directors with effect from\n1 June 2007.\n\nMark Hawtin is a partner of Marshall Wace LLP, one of Europe's leading hedge\nfund managers with more than $12 billion under management. Through The Eureka\n(Euro) Fund Limited, Marshall Wace LLP has an interest in 601,011,717 ordinary\nshares of 0.1p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') representing 21.36% of\nthe entire issued share capital.\n\nMelvin Lawson is a director of a number of private companies involved in house\nbuilding and commercial property investment. He is managing director of A\nBeckman plc, a company formerly listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a\nnon-executive director of Telecom Plus plc. Mr Lawson has an interest in\n181,548,621 Ordinary Shares representing 6.45% of the entire issued share\ncapital. In addition, Singer & Friedlander Investment Management Limited\n('Singer') has an interest in 119,699,215 ordinary shares representing 4.25%.\nFor the purposes of the Takeover Code, Mr Lawson and Singer are deemed to be\nacting in concert and therefore together own 10.7% of the Company.\n\nChristopher Mills is chief investment officer of J O Hambro Capital Management\nLimited, which he joined in 1993. Mr Mills is also chief executive and\ninvestment manager of North Atlantic Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC (a\nUK listed investment trust) and a director and investment manager of Oryx\nInternational Growth Fund Limited. He is a member and chief investment officer\nof North Atlantic Value LLP, which is interested in 225,000,000 Ordinary Shares\nrepresenting 7.99% of the entire issued share capital of the Company. Prior to\njoining the J O Hambro Capital Management group he worked from 1975 to 1993 for\nSamuel Montagu Limited, Montagu Investment Management Limited, and its successor\ncompany, Invesco MIM.\n\nIn addition, the Company announces that Sir David Frost O.B.E is stepping down\nfrom the Board as a Non-Executive Director on 31 May 2007.
