[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n CASPIAN MINERALS PLC\n\n SUSPENSION PENDING MAJOR ACQUISITIONS\n AND RE-ADMISSION TO PLUS\n\n\nCaspian Minerals Plc (\"Caspian\" or \"the Company) has requested the suspension of\ntrading in the Company's GDRs with immediate effect.\n\nThe Company has completed, following all necessary consents having now been\nreceived, the acquisition of substantial interests in onshore Russian oil and\ngas companies. The consideration for these transactions is materially in excess\nof the Company's current capitalisation and will be treated by PLUS as a reverse\ntakeover.\n\nThe Company will as soon as possible send an explanatory circular to the holders\nof the GDRs containing all information reasonably required to carry out an\ninformed assessment of the financial position and prospects of the Company as\nenlarged by the acquisitions and proposed fundraising.
