The GeneralAssembly is an ISTEC sponsored event held once a year bringing together thebrightest minds in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math. “TheGeneral Assembly will be held this year on May16th - 20th, in the beautiful Porto Alegre, Brazil,” stated Dulce García, Interim President of ISTEC. “Our GeneralAssembly channel will work hand-in-hand with the event, allowing collaborationswith professionals before, after, and during the Assembly; not to mention thosewho are unable to attend the event can still be part of our global consortium.”Before the General Assembly begins, members are encouraged to connect withthose who will be in attendance at the event, as well as scheduling times forparticular sessions they wish to attend. During the General Assembly, members will have the opportunity tocommunicate via the PowerChannel in order to shareobservations, as well as keep in contact with members and presenters long afterthe General Assembly ends.The central theme of this year’sGeneral Assembly is Innovation in International Collaboration; includingleading discussions on energy, digital information and global sustainability.
