[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nABBOTSFORD, BC, Sept. 19 /CNW/ - ICS Copper Systems Limited (TSX-V:ICX)\nreports that the development of its Mokambo Copper Project, located in\nMufulira, Zambia, is progressing ahead of schedule.\n\n\nDrilling has been completed on 24 of the proposed 120 shallow diamond\ndrill holes in the current program to delineate the oxide copper and other\nbase metals in the Roan Series Copperbelt lithologies on the property. Visual\ncopper mineralization has been seen in the core. Assays are being done by SGS\nlaboratories in Johannesburg, S.A. and assay results are expected in late\nSeptember 2007 or early October 2007.\n\n\nThe drill program is currently being supervised by D. Makepeace M.Eng.,\nP.Eng., Technical Director and acting COO for ICS and the Qualified Person\nunder N.I. 43-101.\n\n\nA 2.72 hectare area has been cleared and leveled on the concession to\naccommodate the office and processing buildings. A security fence and gate has\nbeen erected to protect the 1.25 hectare compound. The administration,\ngeology/engineering, core storage and EMEW plant buildings are being erected.\nCompound roads have been established to service the mine buildings. The\n2,000 meter water line from the 125 meter shaft to the compound has been\ncompleted. A water filtration plant has been installed. The Company's EMEW\npilot plating and powder cell plants have arrived from the DRC and the 270\nEMEW cells from Australia are on schedule to be delivered to the site this\nfall.\n\n\nThe main road stabilization (10 kilometers) is almost complete and will\nallow for year round access to all portions of the property. There are 37\nZambian employees working directly for the company and many more indirectly.\nSeveral social development programs have been initiated to assist the nearby\nvillages and municipality.\n\n\nThe Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process has started and should\nbe completed and approved by the end of the year.\n\n\nGraham Chisholm, President and CEO of the Company, reports, "We are\nextremely pleased with the progress made on our flagship property and in\nparticular with the drill program.
