(TSXV: EKG) (\"CardioComm\" or the \"Company\"), a global medical provider of consumer heart monitoring and medical electrocardiogram (\"ECG\") software solutions, announces that on May 8, 2023 the TSX Venture Exchange suspended trading in the Company's securities as a result of a Cease Trade Order (the \"CTO\") issued by the Ontario Securities Commission. The CTO was issued due to the Corporation missing the deadline to file its annual financial statements for the financial year ended December 31, 2022 (the \"Financial Statements\") and its management's discussion and analysis relating to the Financial Statements (collectively, the \"Required Filings\") before the prescribed deadline of May 1, 2023 (see the Company's press release dated May 1, 2023 for further details). The Required Filings are anticipated to be filed by May 30, 2023 or sooner, following which the Company will apply for reinstatement for trading on the TSX Venture Exchange.
