The\nproceeds from the disposal of the site, which was sold to Uraich Limited, will\nbe used to reduce group indebtedness. The site had a nil book value and so the\nentire sales proceeds, less associated costs, have been booked as exceptional\nprofit.\n\nCarclo has continued to make steady progress and results for the first half to\n30 September are anticipated to be broadly in line with the Board's\nexpectations.\n\nCarclo will be announcing interim results on 6 December 2004.\n\n\n - Ends -\n\n\n\n\nEnquiries:\n\nCarclo plc 01924 330500\nIan Williamson, Chief Executive\n\n\n\nWeber Shandwick Square Mile 020 7067 0700\nRichard Hews / Susanne Walker\n\n\n\nNotes to Editors\n\n• Carclo plc is a global supplier of technical plastic components and\n specialist wire products.
