(TSX: CS) today\n announced its operating results for the three months ended March 31,\n 2011 from its two operating mines, Cozamin and Minto. Combined\n production totalled 16.7 million pounds of copper in concentrates, with\n additional by-products of lead, zinc, silver and gold.\n\n\nQ1 2011 Production\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\nQ1 2011\n\n\n\n\nCopper in concentrates\n(millions of pounds)\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n    - Cozamin\n\n\n8.6\n\n\n\n\n    - Minto\n\n\n8.1\n\n\n\n\nTotal\n\n\n16.7\n\n\n\n\nOperational Highlights for the three months ended March 31, 2011\n\n\nThe following is a summary of operational highlights for Capstone during\n the first three months of 2011:\n\n\n\nProduction of 16.7 million pounds of copper contained in concentrates.\n\n\nBy-product production of 4.2 million pounds of zinc, 0.8 million pounds\n of lead and 367,704 ounces of silver in concentrates.  Final gold\n production is not available since assaying is done off site, but is\n estimated at 2,925 ounces for the quarter.\n\n\nAt Cozamin, remediation activities in the mine curtailed mining rates\n throughout the first quarter.  By mid-March most of these activities\n were completed and mining commenced in the Avoca area at the end of\n March, which is ...
