[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n1 April 2016\n\nCapita plc\n\n(the \"Company\")\n\nVoting Rights and Capital\n\nThe Total Voting Rights announcement released earlier today has been amended to reflect that 1,877,531 shares are currently held by the Capita Employee Benefit Trust instead of 2,215,832 shares as previously announced. The full text of the amended announcement is below, all other details remain the same.\n\nNotification of alteration to total voting rights in accordance with the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules provision 5.6.1R.\n\nThe Company advises that its capital consists of 670,130,205 ordinary shares of 2 1/15p each, as at 31 March 2016. The voting rights of these shares are identical with each share carrying the right to one vote. The Company currently holds 4,240,705 shares in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Capita plc is 665,889,500.\n\nThe above figure, 665,889,500, may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or change to their interest in, Capita plc under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.\n\nIn addition, the above figure includes 1,877,531 shares currently held by the Capita Employee Benefit Trust and are therefore excluded from the Company's EPS calculation.\n\nName and signature of duly authorised officer of issuer responsible for making notification:\n\nFrancesca Todd, Company Secretary, 020 7202 0641\n\n ","length":1646,"tagName":"div"}]
