About this update from Cantex Mine Development Corp.

[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nLOWNA, BC, July 4 /CNW/ - Cantex Mine Development Corp (CD - TSX\nVenture Exchange) (\"Cantex\" or the \"Company\").\nThe Company is pleased to report gold results for a further 10 holes at\nthe Al Hariqah gold deposit, Yemen. These results are for the sixth to\nfifteenth holes of the 45 hole program designed to provide infill data within\nthe previously drilled northernmost 1100 meters of the deposit as well as to\nbroadly delineate gold mineralization over an additional 1,240 meters. As\npreviously reported, the Al Hariqah gold deposit is more than 4,000 meters\nlong.\nNine of the ten holes contained significant gold mineralization.\nSignificant results for these nine holes, as determined by fire assay at ALS\nChemex, an ISO 9001:2000 accredited laboratory in Vancouver, are summarized in\nthe following table.\n\n>\n\nThe Company is most encouraged with the above results as they are\nconsistent with previously reported gold values at Al Hariqah and demonstrate\ncontinuity of values within the deposit as well as gold grades typical of\nthose found in open pit mines.\nThe program is being conducted using the Company's reverse circulation\npercussion drill which drills 90mm diameter holes. Sampling and logging of the\ndrill cuttings were carried out by Cantex's geologists on site in Yemen.\nSample preparation was conducted at CF Mineral Research Ltd where the samples\nwere split, crushed, and pulverized prior to shipment to ALS Chemex for\nanalysis.\nAt ALS Chemex the gold content is determined using a fire assay with an\nAAS finish (Au-AA24). Any samples with gold contents in excess of 10 g/t are\nthen re-assayed using a fire assay with a gravimetric finish (Au-GRA22).\n43 of the 45 planned holes have now been drilled using reverse\ncirculation percussion techniques. Due to the limited depth capabilities of\nthe drill using this technique 40 of these holes are being extended by core\ndrilling. This work is in progress.\nThe next shipment of samples is expected to arrive in Canada in the\ncoming week. This shipment contains samples from 26 holes. These samples will\nbe processed and analyzed when received.\nThis press release has been prepared by Dr. Peter Gregory, a Qualified\nPerson.\n\nSigned,\n\nChad Ulansky\n\nChad Ulansky\nPresident and Geologist\n\nThe TSX Venture Exchange does not accept responsibility for the ad...
