[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nLOWNA, BC, Dec. 14 /CNW/ - Cantex Mine Development Corp (CD - TSX\nVenture Exchange) (\"Cantex\" or the \"Company\").\nThe Company is pleased to report that the drilling of the four kilometer\nlong gold zone is progressing at its 100% owned Al Hariqah project. To date 18\nof the 45 planned holes have been completed cost effectively using Cantex's\ncore / percussion drill staffed by Yemeni drillers. The drill program is\nfocused on providing additional confidence levels in the distribution of\nmineralization within the previously drilled 1.1 kilometer section and broadly\nextend this drill proven zone of mineralization over the four kilometer long\nstrike length. Samples from seven holes have now arrived in Canada and are\nbeing prepared for analysis. Preliminary fire assay results for gold and\nsilver are expected in early January.\nCyanide extraction results have been completed for grab samples taken\nfrom a high grade gold zone at Al Hariqah. The analyses were carried out by\nVizon Scitec of Vancouver, BC. A portion of each sample was crushed to\napproximately 5 mm and another portion was milled to less than 75 micrometers.\nGold was then extracted from a 300 gram sub sample of each of the crushed and\nmilled material using 600 grams of 1 g/l sodium cyanide.
