(CD : TSX-V)\n("Cantex", the "Company") is pleased to announce the progress on its Suwar\nnickel - copper - cobalt project and Al Hariqah gold project.\n\n\nSuwar Nickel - Copper - Cobalt Project\n--------------------------------------\n\n\nWork is progressing well at the Suwar project which is optioned to Vale\nInternational S.A, a wholly owned subsidiary of Companhia Vale do Rio Doce\n("Vale").\n\n\nThe work underway focuses on a 2 kilometer by 4 kilometer area which\nincludes all of the previously drill tested nickel - copper - cobalt\nmineralization.\n\n\nA 32 line kilometer ground magnetic survey is now complete which expands\nthe previous ground magnetic survey to cover the southern extents of the Suwar\nmineralization. A 15 line kilometer ground gravity survey has been conducted\ncovering the main mineralization found to date near Suwar Hill. Data from\nthese surveys is to be interpreted by Vale geophysicists to assist in defining\ndrill targets.\n\n\nAn induced polarization survey is shortly expected to commence to extend\nthe previous coverage. The IP survey is to cover a 2 kilometer by 3.4\nkilometer area.\n\n\nSoil sampling has now been completed over the entire 4.2km focus area.\nApproximately 2000 soil samples have been collected and shipped to Canada by\nair cargo for processing and analysis.\n\n\nA satellite image has been commissioned covering the Suwar - Wadi Qutabah\nregion. The image has been collected and the required georeference points are\nnow being accurately located in the field to allow processing of the raw image\nto produce the final products.\n\n\nA 5,000m drill contract has been signed with Logan Drilling Limited from\nStewiacke, Nova Scotia. A Duralite 1000N drill, capable of drilling 1,000\nmeter NQ holes, is now en route to Yemen. To facilitate the drill program\nexisting roads in the area are being improved and new roads are under\nconstruction.\n\n\nCantex and Vale are both pleased with the progress on the project to\ndate.\n\n\nAl Hariqah Gold Project\n-----------------------\n\n\nA 77 hole drill program is underway at Al Hariqah using the Company's two\ndrills.
