[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nNov. 3, 2009 (Canada NewsWire Group) -- CALGARY, Nov. 3 /CNW/ -- Samsung and female hockey great, Hayley Wickenheiser have brought to life the first ever international female minor hockey festival from April 1st to 4th, 2010 at Canlan Ice Sports 8 Rinks in Burnaby, British Columbia.Capitalizing on the momentum of 2010, the inaugural tournament has been designed to bring young women together from across the world to compete on an international stage; develop new skills with some the world's best coaches and trainers; and an opportunity to meet and interact with other female athletes from across the globe including all-star Hayley Wickenheiser.\"This tournament has been a dream of mine for some time and I am so thrilled that it has come to fruition. This event is so much more than your average hockey tournament - it's really a festival of the game,\" explains four-time Olympian Hayley Wickenheiser.Female hockey teams ranging in levels from Pee Wee to Senior will have the opportunity to experience a unique playing field where they will face-off against their peers from different countries.
