(“California Gold” or the “Company”; CGM - TSXV) is pleased to announce new assay results from the Company’s recently completed Phase II drill program at its flagship Fremont Project (the “Project”) in Mariposa County, California.\n\nThe Phase II drill program commenced on December 17, 2013 and drilling was concluded on January 29, 2014. During the program, four PQ-sized diamond holes were drilled totalling 568 meters (1,862 ft). The main objective of the Phase II drill program was to generate sufficient representative material from each of the three metallurgical domains that have recently been identified at the Fremont Property, in order to initiate Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA)-level metallurgical testing.
